Located in the King & Dufferin area of Toronto, the Postman Edit Farm is based on the latest digital technology, with Broadcast quality Video & Audio and full graphics compatibility. Our editors are dyed in the wool professionals who pride themselves in working at the highest level of quality and creativity. Not unlike our production arm, we are interested in all things that move on the small screen; Corporate Video, Music Videos, TV Commercials, TV Documentaries and TV Series. But it doesn't end there, we are geared to do CUTS for the big screen as well, and will welcome Feature projects.

If you are a producer looking for talent to edit your Show, we have that in spades. The house is called POSTMAN for a reason, Gord's background is high end broadcast post-production and he has made sure that the stable of editors that work at the POSTMAN stand up to this high water mark.
A recent addition to the shop is the AJA IO interface box, which allows us to do 8&10 Bit uncompressed video for component and SDI output. This is a quality increase for all our customers.
If you are coming to the edit suite for a session there are several things you need to know. Be sure your formats are clear; we have the capability to handle the following; Betacam SP, DVCAM, Mini DV,SVHS, VHS.
We have 2 editing set-ups which mirror themselves. We use Apple's Final Cut Pro as our editing interface, each suite has a 1 Terrabyte array of storage (that's alot of footage storage on each setup). We use a gigabit ethernet system to share footage and cuts between the setups.
We use After Effects for 2D compositing, we have all forms of companion software needed to get your job on air, on tape or on the WEB.

An editor/compositor at Postman productions for the past 3 years, Jeff is the
post-production "goto" man when it's crunch time or when a job just
needs careful attention to detail. Getting his start in the field of special
effects(scale models/motion control camera) he garnered a knowledge for
the importance of suspending disbelief and constant preparation. With his
background deeply rooted in the arts, Jeff is an accomplished storyboard/conceptual
artist and After Effects compositor, a veritable visual surgeon. His strong
work ethic and zest for the film and television industry make Jeff a strong
link in any chain.
